  Talking about the Arepa is talking about Venezuela. Part of our culture and of the table of each day, it is our most indigenous culinary expression, it is the benefactor of our daily bread. The arepa is a national expression, it can be found in any city in Venezuela. The Dancing Devils

The devils are grouped in collectives or societies, they carry crosses, rosaries or any religious amulet and during the festival they pray prayers, including a mass. They wear red trousers, shirt and cape and also carry bells and rattles hanging from their clothes. The masks are designed with bold colors and fierce looks, or at least that's what they're trying to do. The devil costume is made up of various accessories such as the tail, the cowbells, the errand and the maraca. Being a very popular tradition throughout the country, we can find different dancing devils distributed throughout the country, but the most important are those of Yare, Naiguatá and Chuao.

The Pavilion

  The Creole pavilion or Venezuelan pavilion, is one of the most representative dishes of our cuisine. Full of colors and varied flavors, it possibly evokes the union of the ethnic groups that make up our town, it carries the unique and warm aroma of this land. It is made up of White Rice, Shredded Meat, Black Beans and Fried Banana Slices, all arranged in an ornamental way, highlighting their color, aroma and flavor to the maximum.

The Hallaca

  Undoubtedly, one of the most recognized and elaborate dishes that cannot be absent in Venezuelan gastronomy is Halca. Hallaca is the result of thet historical process that our society has lived. The word "Hallacas" comes from Guarani and derives from thet word "ayua" por "ayuar" which means to mix or stir, from these words it is presumed that "ayuaca" is a mixed thing, which due to linguistic deformation came Venezuela is a rich country where there different cultures are mixed, such as Spanish, indigenous and African.
